Good collections of fresh flowers

A really good bouquet was made yesterday.

Bought a bouquet of roses in the evening 2 already hung their heads 2 days later they were all over when unpacking 4 came out with brown spots the worst flowers 2000 shop I've seen

I bought a cattleya orchid in moss on a saucer a week ago. The very friendly sales lady said I should spray her every two days. When I did this two days later, the substrate started to smell extremely bad! When it didn't get any better, I dipped the orchid until all the moss came off and I got its roots free! The smell was bestial! All the roots were rotten and I had no choice but to cut them all off. Now I've put them on coarse bark mulch and hope that the orchid has enough will to live to form new roots! What a cheek to offer something like this for 24.95 euros! It was a lesson for me as I now never buy orchids without being able to see the roots, but I figured if I bought them from a florist you couldn't go wrong. Conclusion: only buy orchids with healthy roots that you can look at and judge, or at least not that relatively expensive! Even if the buds look healthy and tempting to buy, this may be the plant's last gasp before it dies! You can't necessarily rely on flower shops either! Your own judgment should prevail!
